Happy to be on board again on the same boat with you dear Beagle !
However I have problems with my confirmation mail link, I am unable (momentarily) to access the TPB onion site. I must admit the registration process was somewhat challenging (unable to read the captcha I had to listen... and the sounds are muffled and English is not my native language... but this I passed fortunately).
The other trouble is TPB is banned in my country, so it will be TOR to talk and proxies/mirrors to upload.
Torrents are an adventure....

For information, I managed to activate my TPB account thanks to the TPB tools on this forum BUT.... my username or pass are rejected on TPB, I suppose it is one of the safety tricks from TPB as I am in a TOR browser. Of course I can download and seed without the pass but no comment....

Wow, didn't expect Daz Studio users to outnumber Poser users by that much. I guess the V4 holdouts really are fading fast?

Not necessarily, but Daz being free and having a far better support infrastructure does give it a leg up.

Hello, new user here, still mourning the loss of KAT and the constant flow of material to feed my Daz Studio library. I wasn't active there, neither in the forums nor uploading, though I did try to seed my share. I'm also over at demonoid, but IMO that front is beyond hope. Still, something good may appear from time to time.

As I mentioned I dabble in Daz Studio, on an old Mac, which is a terrible experience, but the only one I have, since I cannot afford a new computer. I will try to upload some things sometime in September if I have it and looking forward to the stabilization of the Daz community her on tpb

ohoy...
Jeez louise, life sure has been a mess since Kat went down.

I have tried for weeks to register to the kat replacement fora thingy...it wont let me.
I really wanted to weigh in on the "where do we go now?-discussion". Sad

I guess I´m a bit late now, but for what it´s worth I really hope people will gravitate towards demonoid....though it doesn´t seem that is the case.
Tpb is fine, I guess, but demonoid feels more - sheltered? - can´t really explain why I feel that though.

Another thing that I ´ve been thinking about is that, we should check if anyone in our community has tech-skills to maybe setup our very own, Daz-specific site.

If there is one thing I have learned from internet it´s that everything becomes available sooner or later, so with that said I think I´m going to head over to the reqest-thread now. Smile

I have returned!

Hey folks, some of you may recognize me from KAT. I have been lurking in the shadows here for a while now and finally decided it was time to step out from shadows. So yeah, here I am.

For those who don't know me, I have been using DAZ now for about 3 years. I almost exclusively use v4 and m4. While this may seem strange, these were the characters that I first acquired and who I have accumulated the most clothing and props for. While I am aware that most of what I have can be converted to be used for the newer generation of models, I feel that it is an unnecessary adjustment especially since distributors and vendors continue to release new content for v4 and m4 even to this day. This is especially the case for look-a-like celebrity morphs which happen to be my favorite things to collect. On that subject, I was extremely saddened to hear that SAV had passed away. She was one of my favorite vendors.
