[SOLVED] - Windows7 - Firefox 54.0.1: My problem here was that bottom link status appears as "LOGOUT" only whille in PTB home page or search results page. After enter in any torrent details page, the bottom link status changes to "LOGIN" and the link for "comments" gets missing.
TO FIX IT: Just go to Firefox options > advanced> Web cache then click on "clean now".

Its to do with this header being sent:
cache-control rivate, max-age=10800, pre-check=10800
(tells your browser to store every page in its memory for up to 3 hours, rather than download it from the server)
can be fixed with:
Cache-Control: no-cache,
on the server side.
Only client solution is clear your browser cache after logging in. Even private/incognito won't make a difference since that still does page caching for the session.

I'm dealing with this same issue. I've tried just about every trick in the book to get it work on Chrome. Guess I'll try IE. I wanted to comment on a movie torrent where the screenshot of the film are actually links to porn sites. It's a family-friendly movie so I don't think some people would appreciate those links.
***edit***
Well, I finally got it to where I could stay logged in (clearing the cache, ctrl-f5), but now it won't let me hit submit on the comment! I swear, if it's not one thing, it's another.

For when Viewing the details of torrents @ thepiratebay.org ...... it logs me out (which means I CAN NOT POST A COMMENT). But, if I go back a Window OR type something into the Search Box shows that I am still logged in.

Edit Reason: More info
)
For a while now, every time I want to write a comment, I log in, go back to the torrent via the search engine, and blam, I'm logged out and can't write a comment the moment I leave my profile page.
Anyone got any tips on how to fix this?
EDIT: Clicking Login instantly logs me back in, but leaving the profile page still boots me from my account
