Can't post in the torrent deletion thread
#1
I can't post in "Want a torrent deleted or hash cleared? Post Here!" - that thread shows up to me as Closed.

Also, if I want to delete the torrent and its hash, can I just post the torrent link or do I need to post both?

Create a thread in account issues that then becomes your own personal thread for stuff like that.

You only need to (and should only) post a torrent hash if you want to reupload the torrent without changing it. ie. if you're deleting the torrent to reupload with a better torrent description.

You can't reupload a torrent if the hash is still in the system. So if you have the hash cleared when you're not going to reupload, not only is that more work for you and us, more importantly it means that other people are free to reupload your torrent.

Okay, I only posted the links in that thread above.

So clearing the hash is essentially for reuploading the same exact torrent as a form of editing the TPB page on it. Good to know.

So clearing the hash for some other reason would allow other people to take credit for my torrent?

Not exactly but, basically, yes.

Clearing a hash clears the way for a torrent to be reuploaded. Nothing more nothing less.

If you don't reupload the unchanged torrent yourself then anybody else can do so at any time, with or without giving you credit. Either way, there won't be anything you can do about it.

Aare logged in will see a "Account Issues" window. In here just a topic to be opened and just see only you topic. You can not create another topics. If someone other subject ir you have to enter the same place, which no longer belongs to topic.I think the old common topic solution was much more friendly. But I think it would be most convenient if everyone could be delete your own torrent. And if you want to own can I delete the corresponding hash the database.but could be set up in a separate place for the common purpose common option, only common forum,.Now I think now been renovated so as not the best solution.Sad

Account issues are personal to each account, and don't need to be lumped into one common thread.
