Same here.

Tried every possible hack, workaround and what not.

For me, everything above 23.2.9.8466 just doesn't work. Patch just breaks the services.

Even when I try clean install last step "Patch System" fails.



EDIT: I also tried to install 23.9.10.8817 with 3.4.1 patch on three PCs where SC had never been installed. All three fails with the very same error as above.

Hi, have you managed to sort it or still stuck trying to patch...  we have tried again and seems it works for some, but only after hashing the install process. We still havent been able to patch, does the patch mess up the web.config, is this whats happening ?

Everything is messed up after last step in patch.

I mean, that some seem to have got it working by doing multiple steps to get it to work, rather than a simple click and patch, which is what we are used to.  As you have, we have tried all this and it still doesnt work.

I installed in around 6 servers since yesterday and it's working like a charm. just followed exactly how it is mentioned by @Arlecho

For me in Screenconnect, one thing needed to be implemented on the patch. kind of a feature.
if we can set and limit number of mac addresses (pc's) logins for each user (in the user table or somewhere) it will be of great help. screenconnect will not allow the user to login to more devices as i set via the administrator account, unitll he logs out of the previous logged in deivice.
for example if i set 4 mac address / devices. user can login to 4. 5th device it wont allow and will ask to log out any previous session.
can anyone help me please to implement this ?

Not sure how to achieve this, a plugin might (or might not) work, maybe we might even need the original software supplier to make this...

I am using IIS. what would the reverse proxy do please suggest
