Is there any way to change admin password? I have been locked out due to the hack. I don't have a recent backup for all sessions/clients. Upgrading doesn't reset users (it shouldn't)

Restore your App_Data\Users.xml file from a backup.

Are there any messages in the event log or any other debugging messages?
Not sure what is happening here, could you try a clean install (with a proper backup) and if that doesn't work either post the server specs?

Since I can't go from 21.1 straight to 23.9...   Can I upgrade and install 22.x, without patching it, then when I load 23.9.1.0.x patch that one before installing it?  Or do I need to patch 22.x before installing it?

How do you delete all the chat history of off the client? They contain / popup showing the system is breached..... Please help.... I have patch and resecure the system but i want to clear all the chat history

Since I can't go from 21.1 straight to 23.9...   Can I upgrade and install 22.x, without patching it, then when I load 23.9.1.0.x patch that one before installing it?  Or do I need to patch 22.x before installing it?

I was breached at 21.5.3025.7772. I can install/patch and start services for all incremental updates up to 23.2.10.8811 posted on ScreenConnect's release site. When I install and patch 23.3.19.8811 ScreenConnect Security Manager  service fails to start. The issue is when upgrading to any release above  23.3.19.8811 services fail to start, at least for my configuration. Hopefully someone can chime in to help out as im stuck at 23.2.10.8811 but blocking all connections on my firewall.

Let me know if the services start then, if they don't report back with server configurations.

I tried clean installation of 23.9.8.8811 and 23.7.9.8811 and both have a problem starting Security service after patching. I tried installing without patch and all works fine.

I tried both 3.4.0 and 3.4.1 versions of the patch.


I ended installing (and locking down) 22.8.9717 version that worked before and I am waiting for someone to find a solution.

I used the old v3.1.0 patch for the old version as I knew it worked before.


I am using Windows Server 2019 Standard (v1809).
