I turned it on then read how long it takes and tried to disable it. Too late. So when I inevitably rebooted the drive was locked, but no problem, enter key, boot windows, right? Nope. I got a message that winboot.exe or some such was corrupted. No amount of trying would fix it and it's unrepairable by Windows, of course since Windows can never seem to repair anything. So now I'm using Puran to recover my files on that drive and hopefully I'll be able to transfer them to one of the other two. Then I have to format the drive with a nuke disk since bitlocker still has it locked when I reboot (i can unlock it in windows but I can't read it, it says data structure corrupted. I set up a new partition to install windows).
