Thanks, Ed.
I just did it and it worked!
Next time, I think I should read the update description before updating.
Again, thanks.

Good point. Done.
EDIT: Do you know what's stupid? The description of that update isn't very helpful; there's only that shitty "install this to resolve installation issues," or words to that effect.
I agree with Jaffer: sneaky.

Edit Reason: add more info
)
It is an upgrade, therefore if you have an illegal serial, it wont be genuine (I'm pretty sure M$ will check that), U'll still get the upgrade, but you'll end up with the annoying watermark, and possibly a constant reminder to BUY BUY BUY! Also dunno what kind of limitations there will be, that info would be useful hehe

I think you can also Click “Customize” in the System Tray and turn off the Get Windows 10 app notifications in the menu that comes up. This is from to the Windows 10 FAQ & Tips page.

Then u only hide it, it isn't gone then.
If you remove update KB3035583, then its gone.

What is the purpose of that fricking update anyway, besides spamming your notification area?

That's strange, I have Windows 7 Ultimate x64 (from TPB), Update KB 3035583 was installed on June 1, 15 but I don't get this Windows 10 notification at all. Anyway, I hope Windows 10 x64 will be available on TPB after July 29 for a clean install. What I have seen so far (build 10135) doesn't look bad, but I do miss Aero tho and there is a lot to be desired on the appearance. I do hope Windows 10 will have as many tweaks and additional customizations like Windows 7 has.
