Advice with Vuze and synced torrents

I need some advice on the technical side of things. After having trouble with a torrent I was able to find another similar torrent online and something remarkable happened once I started downloading it. The two torrents "synced" for lack of a better term (I think they used the term "swarm" but I am NOT an expert in the technical side. I just barely know enough to get the function to work. And not only was I able to completely download the new torrent but I was also able to get the old one MOSTELY complete, emphasis on MOSTLEY. I would not only like to fully complete them but try to get the old version of the torrent to a 1.0 share ratio if possible as I understad that is preferred etiquette. But I don't know why the synched downloading stopped once the new torrent finished downloading and transitioned into seeding. If there is any further information I can give including screenshots of my torrent program please let me know.

Two or more torrents that have the same files will share that data.  If a torrent is still incomplete after merging, it is because it either has unique data not in any of the other torrents, or it doesn't recognize some of the files as being the same, probably because the file name or path is different.  You can use the methods in the link above to see if you can rebuild the incomplete torrent.

Here are the screen captures I mentioned. I hope they help. and  I tried reading the link to Swarm Merging you gave me. But I couldn't figure out what I was supposed to actually do.

Well, like I said in my previous post, if one of the torrents has unique files, like all those .png files, there is nothing the swarm merge can do.

For merge to work automatically, the files have to be identical, have the same name, and be in the same sub folders (if any).

If you are certain the files exist in both and are identical in both, then you'll have to re-read the link for instructions on how to manually make the merge work. Either that, or manually copy the missing files to the right places with the right names and do a force-recheck.

If I already got the files I need from the second torrent is it ok to delete the first torrent?
