Hello guys, I have started a campaign known as the "Information should be free" campaign. It isn't really a campaign, it's an idea.
It's really simple, and has no website, it exists in your mind.
Every time you purchase an Ebook, you make a torrent out of it and seed it, unless the book already exists.
This way, I hope that there will come a time when college textbooks are readily available to all humans, regardless of race/religion/sex/class, as they clearly are not in certain parts of the world today.
"The writer must earn money in order to be able to live and to write, but he must by no means live and write for the purpose of making money." - Karl Marx
I foresee a future where the availability of Ebooks becomes so intense, it will cause a major crash in prices, allowing everyone to have access to them via digital means.
If, for any reason, a writer should refrain from digitally publishing his material, we can scan it ourselves to obtain a digital copy.
If an artist would be discouraged to write because of the lack of incentive, he will be eliminated by nature, as authors that do make their content accessible to all would be more favored, and their publications better known.
