That should be a quick fix. Make sure your pumpkin is casting shadows (should by default) and that the point light has the shadow type set to raytraced. There might be a little glow off the thighs from bounced light, and you should see the light from the mouth projected on the ground, too, if the light is not too low inside.

Thanks ThunderHerd, sikotikxiii sent me a PM with the same solution, which worked. I guess in my haste to get a test render I forgot to turn on the Point Light's shadow type. Here's the updated render. Still working on adding small details to the scene.

I took the hair and Earings into Hexagon and added smooth and sub level 2. I separated the Earings they are now independent of each other. I pulled out her side bangs so that they are aligned with her face instead of inside of it.

I put a hair overlay to make it look more like hair instead of a big yellow blob. I Adjusted her skin tone to look more like it should. I also added her pink lipstick that she always wears. Once I have finished the clothing which is going to be a big job. I would like to make some recolors of her hair and dress.

Nice work.

Not sure if you've seen it yet, but there's this outfit over on sharecg. It's rigged for Genesis, but should probably work for Genesis 3 with auto convert. It's probably not the best, but could be a nice jumping off point. Me personally, I would simply kit-bash one together. Now that I think about it, I feel like I've seen a cosplay Princess Peach outfit over on Renderosity. I can't recall what it was called, but I will try to find it. There's also this hair if you want other options.

Looking forward to seeing more!

EDIT: My mistake, the outfit I was thinking about was this one, which is a cosplay outfit for Princess Zelda... completely different castle! lol

Thank you for both of these they will come in handy I have a feeling. The project is a way for me to learn how to port objects and rigging and well to learn more about Daz and 3d modeling etc...

Yes actually! I have the whole gang made with the exception of Scooby. I recently acquired Bacon the Toon Dog and its add on, I'm hoping I can make a decent Scooby with that. Otherwise I'll have to use the Millennium Dog.

On another note, I recently started using Progressive rendering in DAZ Studio and found that if I make the resolution big enough, I can stop the render before its final rendering pass. Save it, open it up in Photoshop and reduce its resolution to the desired size which cleans up 98% of the noise and pixelation the render still has. This trick has cut my render times by a third, which is pretty awesome. This is very useful and is helping me generate quality renders for my current CG set without taking me all day. Below is the result of this trick. What would normally take me 65+ minutes to render took only 20 minutes using this method.

Please don't take offense, just I hope a constructive observation.

It is a real shame about the hair, otherwise a really great image, lighting, skin and everything else is visually stunning, just a shame the hair looks like a helmet, which would be great if the image was in toon shades but of course it isn't

Perhaps have a hunt for some better texture maps or even another hair model that flows better in different poses.

One of the downfalls of conforming hair.

No offense taken. The hair is a composite of two different hair models. The bangs are parented to the main hair figure and that figure is then parented to the Genesis 3 Female's head. Since it's a hair figure designed for Victoria 4 and I never took the time to learn how to convert older hair models this is the method I had available to me. I have looked high and low for a better/different hair model to use for Daphne, but I have been unsuccessful thus far.
