You can fix the lips through bump map settings (https://anonym.to/http://preta3d.com/for...f=28&t=535) unless you wanted it that way Smile

I didn't actually use the GPU on this, just CPU, though I have a GTX 970. Something is up with my open CL so that I can't render with both the CPU and the GPU at the moment. Just either or.

The lips look like that in Iray too, it's a cracked-ish, glittery looking texture, can't remember what it's from, but I liked the effect so I kept it.

.. and now for something completely different

A little something I was playing with today - just to show Poser 11 has some definite possibilities...

Think I'm getting closer to what I want with cycles materials and Superfly.

Oh i see Smile

How long does it take to get to 200 iterations on a GTX 970 on those iRay renders? Using CPU, takes anywhere between 1-2 hours depending on complexity.

Really depends on the scene, there a pretty big range. Most renders take less than 30 minutes, though some of the larger scenes I've done took around an hour. The iray examples that I shared above didn't take longer than 20-30 min. The reality/lux one took around an hour.
The 970 is ok but when I bought it I didn't notice that there was such a difference in the # of cuda cores between the 970 and 980. For gaming they're very similar, but for rendering # of cuda cores is most important, that and video memory. The new 1060s are pretty cheap and probably pretty good for iRay if you're on a tight budget. Don't know how they compare as far as cuda cores though.

1060 vs 970:
1280 vs 1664 CUDA cores.

I think the 980 Ti is probably the best option having the most CUDA cores, decent 6GB memory and okay price.

980 ti vs 1070:
2816 vs 1920 cores

Thank you. Still have some issues with composition though...

Anyway, it took 5 minutes and 11 seconds on IRay without Architectural Sampler.

I don't really render images as the art itself.. . I pretty much use daz stuff as pose reference for other art.;3
I know it's not a render, persay, but I didn't see another, more suitable thread...
