site's Admin section look ?
#1
Hello there again, i have a small query.I was wondering how people control their sites, i am a backend beginner but also i would like to know what type of techniques do the people use to manage their sites.
1) Do they make a easy admin section to manage their site (i am not trying to say about the CMS like Wordpress,Drupal, etc. i am talking about custom admin section ), if so how would it look like ? Can u please share some experience or screenshots or any suggestions?
2) Or other choices ?
3) If i have different types of websites like one is informative website for an organization, another for blogging system, another for huge user role based architecture like torrent sites OR something like facebook having huge users and different roles and actions how can i manage them ?

EDIT:
P.S.: If u don't mind can i see how your profile page looks like (Mods Or Admins) ?

Since i've made most of my own website, my backend is the source codes themselves Tongue

On some of my sites I do have a admin page, but it's generally just for items I've bothered to make customizable (like page titles or other similar things)

I was just thinking how the site's management panel looks like.I know there are CMSs but besides them how people manage, do they make their own custom admin panel to control the site or what else ? I was just curious how the control panel looks like that's all. Share some screenshots of your site's backend design (off course not the code -- i mean design/UI looks )  Smile

This is also part of a plan to hack TPB. A stupid plan, but a plan nonetheless.

Some hosts like CreateMyBB.com will allow you to setup a free MyBB forum with ease and you can explore the admin section yourself.

I honestly didn't think you were trying to hack TPB or anything. I was just making a point. And that point is, if you want to ask sites how they do things, don't ask one of the most controversial, (and maybe illegal) sites on the internet how they do what they do. Ask someone else.

No one here will ever help you on how they do anything. So you would have much better luck asking someone else, or like AncientRome said, get your own site and mess around with it. It's not that hard.
