Unfortunately, no. I only have four of his symphonies from that series.

Sadly, 1, 2, 4 and 8. Undecided

I appreciate the offer, and will take you up on it. Thanks.
Just a note: I will be uploading more later today. In fact, it's a pretty safe bet that you can find fresh uploads from me every weekend, both Saturdays and Sundays. However, I will only be uploading for 24 hours. I've seen as many as a dozen people downloading what I place in this thread at any given time, so potential seeders are out there. I only have so-much bandwidth, and because I kept seeding my first 30 uploads for a week, I went from 30% use of my bandwidth to over 100%.

It's a choice of whether I put more discs up here for sharing, or just a very few, and share them for a long time. I don't think the second option is viable. I have a lot to share, and others who have downloaded can seed, as well. So please ask in this thread for reseeds:

And let's see the downloaders step up to the plate.
Hello Philidor. I was wondering are you planning to upload African music (if I recall correctly, you mentioned your music tastes running that way as well) or you prefer at present to focus on uploading your classical collection first?

The classical collection's going to be my emphasis for now, sorry. I've got another 240 or so uniques to upload just from things I've put up on KAT in the past. Plus, plenty more where that came from: composers and music most people have never heard, pre-17th century and 20th.

At some point I will get around to Hungarian etno-folk and African (various sorts), put I don't have the time at the moment to do much, there. My wife just had bilateral knee replacement surgery, and I'm primary caregiver--and trying to keep up some semblance of my regular job, too. Wink

Meanwhile, I would suggest you check out this site:

http://www.globalgroovers.com/

Moos has a fine collection of African material, mainly from the 1960s and 1970s, focused on Congolese soukous, Guinean trad-influenced dance bands, and Nigerian and Ghanan highlife. He runs off his own server, so there's no danger of someone coming along to claim this or that release belongs to them--when the governments, companies, performers, and all semblance of rights holders have long since been overthrown or died. Search on country; it's the easiest way to navigate Moos' site. And enjoy. Smile

EDIT: Also, check out these:

Worldservice in particular is run by a gent who's extremely knowledgeable, and Ethioipain is the best site for Ethiopian music and information about the artists, bar none.

Many, many thanks for the reply Philidor. I understand. Will go check out these links.
Hi Philidor, I am watching your posts with great interest and thank you for your efforts.
I have a personal love of much sacred music (despite being a secular humanist!) and
I have downloaded several of your excellent selections. For my part, I have excess download
capacity these days so my contribution will be to reseed your uploads for as long as possible.
Cheers ... AtheistPilgrim (Terry Moodie)

Why, thank you! It's difficult getting this material seeded, since it has so few downloaders. I'm very much obliged for your efforts, Terry. Keep your eye out for more Renaissance sacred music, as I put a fair amount up on KAT, and will be placing it here, as well.
