so, now the word nazis are trying to ban the use of the word 'bossy.'
their argument is this:
boy or girl, if they are being bossy, i'd view them with the same amount of contempt that i have towards anyone else who is getting on my nerves at an alarming rate.
i think there is a better way to encourage girls to seek leadership roles and that is to ensure that they are taught the proper fundamentals of leadership and given the opportunity to develop those skills properly instead of trying to ban another fucking word.
first, we were hit by a massive media campaign against the usage of the words 'fag' and 'faggot' because some people were getting their feelings hurt and anyone who used those words were bullies.
then, we were hit by another massive media campaign against the usage of the word 'retard' because some people were getting their feelings hurt again and anyone that used that word was a bully.
then, we we were hit by another massive media campaign against the usage of the word 'bully' because some people were getting their feelings hurt because they had the ability to accurately convey what other people were acting like.
now, now we are being hit by another massive media campaign against the usage of the word 'bossy' under the guise that it hurts a young girl's feelings and compels them not to become leaders.
bullshit.
i don't know about the rest of you, but i've never viewed any of my 'leaders' as bossy. i might have considered a few of them to be rats, weasels, liars, thieves, jackasses and a at least one was a war criminal... but never bossy. i've never considered my bosses to be bossy and the primary reason is because people in leadership positions learn early on in life that being bossy is a poor motivational tool, a horrible leadership quality and a general character flaw (the politically correct refer to character flaws as personality disorders).
leaders inspire.
leaders instill confidence.
leaders lead.
bossy people get punched in the face a lot and don't get invited to parties.
so, instead of banning yet another word, how about we teach kids the proper concepts of leadership rather than acting like a group of retarded faggot bullies and allowing kids to think that being 'bossy' is an acceptable way to conduct themselves in everyday life?

their argument is this:
banbossy.com Wrote:When a little boy asserts himself, he's called a “leader.” Yet when a little girl does the same, she risks being branded “bossy.” Words like bossy send a message: don't raise your hand or speak up. By middle school, girls are less interested in leading than boys—a trend that continues into adulthood. Together we can encourage girls to lead.
