Hey there, long time Dler, first time poster here.
I've been using BitComet forever and just recently now operating on windows 10.
whats been happening is that some files dl to the point of 99.9% and then just seem to hang up and stall for some reason.
I've even tried different files for the same tv show with the same results.
also I've noticed many files wont even start loading at all and will just sit there at 0 with no upload or download speeds.
not sure what to think, any assistance or ideas would be great
thanks

Check if there are some seeders on the torrent; that's usually the case.

I had a similar issue using Utorrent...I had configured a proxy server... set it to none and it finished the download.
Reconfigured the proxy and all has worked since.

In the settings of your torrent app there should be a network setting. If its configured to use a proxy server to download, and it may not, it could be causing the issue. For me, this was true.

Edit Reason: derp
)
if the torrents are not fake and you don't torrent with a proxy, my guess is that the culprit is your recent transfer to windows 10.
http://wiki.bitcomet.com/known_client_is...tibilities
according to the list of bitcomet's issues, i think its either one of these two situations that is the reason why your stuck downloading
* "The torrent maker included by mistake a system file in the torrent (such as thumbs.db or desktop.ini), which in the meantime got updated by Windows. Thus the piece containing the file will fail the hash check constantly. Check for such files in your torrent task and deselect them."
* "You are getting rubbish (corrupted) data (pieces which fail the hash-check and are discarded). This can occur due to bad peers but sometimes this is also caused by some faulty implementations of NAT on some SOHO routers. Make sure you're not in the DMZ. A firmware update might help."
alternatively, you should check out other torrent clients that are light on resources (as that's the only benefit of using bitcoment over other torrent clients)
MiniGet - {easy to use, basic}
Hadouken - {open source}
Tixati - {very good bittorrent client}
