questions b4 Buying songs from iTunes
#1
So I'm considering buying this song since I can't find one on torrent. https://itunes.apple.com/us/album/harder...d710476203

B4 that, I want to ask something since I never bought a song b4.
1. What file format will it be in and its bitrate/bitdepth?
2.would the song be tied to iTunes or will I be able to move it to any device I want without limitation? And play it with any software?

It'll be a 256 kbps AAC that can be played on any device supporting that format. It is DRM free, but personal information from the iTunes account used to purchase will be embedded in the files.

That's on Spotify, you can record it from there.

Thanks, is there a way to remove the personal information if I do decide to share it?

There are some apps that claim to remove the tags. However the only guaranteed way is to remux the file to strip all non-audio data. Of course, this also removes all tags, so you'll have to re-tag the artist and song info.

K I ended up buying it. Found the radio edit on kickass torrent. But no where seem to have the extended version, which I ended up buying. By remix, do u mean converting the file to like .wav?

No, you are not converting anything. Any conversion (except to lossless) would result in a loss of information when re-encoding. You are simply removing the audio stream from the purchased m4a container and placing it into a new m4a container, which will remove all the metadata including what iTunes added.
