It was the mid-90s and parents everywhere were FREAKING OUT about Mortal Kombat.
“Think of the children!” they wailed. “They might wander into an arcade, innocent and wide-eyed, pop a quarter into Mortal Kombat machine, and the next thing you know they’d be… SPELLING THINGS WITH UNNECESSARY K’s!!!”
Well, that never really came to pass, and the so-called “violent” video games of the 90s are now quaint relics. We think we saw somebody get throttled with their own intestines in a Paw Patrol mobile game the other day. But hey - at least we got this dumb-as-hell movie out of it!
Shang Tsung is having a tournament and has invited all your favorite characters: Johnny Cage, Sonya Blade, Liu Kang, and some guy named Art. Raiden was unable to attend, so Christopher Lambert was the natural choice to fill in as the Japanese Thunder God. Everything that kids liked about the game is here. Except for the blood. Well, and the gory fatalities. But there’s plenty of jokes involving luggage! Those must have only been available on the Atari Jaguar version…
Please join Mike, Kevin, Bill, and Noob Saibot for Mortal Kombat!

This is as quick and dirty as it gets.

I worked with a massively lower quality version of the film (720 yify)

If you are impatient (like me) and can keep your expectations in check, here's one you can watch

Oh yeah, Mortal Kombat! I have gotten the MK Annihiliation riff by the One Man Band and now we got this!

Still waiting for someone to sync up the One Man Band and the Special Jokes riffs, but still, this is way better!  Big Grin

Hey I'm new here; long time lurker/user of links, first time poster.

Is it just me or do y'all use WAY too big movie rips? I'm fine getting a rifftrax fused to a smaller file-size 720p movie copy.

I'd like to get that ball rolling by offering y'all a more reasonable file-size Mortal Kombat film rip. (link not mine. I got it from Pahe.in)

320 kb aac stereo of mixed audio. Should sync up perfectly with the bluray. Add that to whatever video file you want... and re-encode it to a lower bitrate if you like.

Hey how do you guys usually enjoy your rifftrax? I just play them and pirate copies of the films in media players on my laptop. Is there a media player/software that auto-syncs them together? Apart from the official Rifftrax App which of course I have and use...
