in what way do they break the aircraft?

They don't really destroy anything, but they can slow you down if you have a weak computer and the textures are 4096 x 4096 and there is also a config.ini that looks for ENGINE_TYPE and other settings

But painting are graphic files, so they can't spoil anything
but they may be older and do not have _NRM files and will not display XP12 beautifications

there are over 170 colors and you are asking for a list??

Do this:
download
test
see file dates
(if they have _NRM, they should be newer)

If your computer is weak, change the textures from 4096 to smaller ones
