iRiff/RLM Megathread

For Gourley and Rust fans, the monthly commentary is between Cloak and Dagger, Big Trouble in Little China, and Phantasm.  I voted for Big Trouble because it's just the fun. I wish they did more commentaries.

All three of those sound like great fodder for them. Not sure how I would vote.

Speaking of commentaries, do you have any of John Carpenter's? He's always fun, but especially so with Kurt Russell. I'd post some, but my main 12TB HDD decided to take its own life rather than serve my questionable tastes. At least 3TB permanently gone including Logistics, a couple QuipTracks, and most of 2023/24. At least my Gourley and Rust cozies are safe in their MEGA. (Thank you!)

Speaking of commentaries, you have BotW 141 Zombie Death Eaters 2 (Zombi 3) listed as having commentary. It sadly does not. I love my Zombie flicks AND I love me some commentary so it's a sadness. Minor, to be sure, but sad. Do you have that one w/ the commentary?

Oh, speaking of commentaries, did Gourley and Rust mention when the next one is?

Today's word is commentaries.

I appreciate the heads up. I was asking myself while going through the movies how many I'd actually, factually watch.  How many of these would i be willing to put down my phone and sit up straight for?
I kinda want to see Last Vampire on Earth, but do I really?

As your attorney I advise you to watch it. Ideally with a KFC dinner.

Ben and Arthur, too. Hell, all the spotlights, just to be safe!

OMg... I have to check that. The commentary was pretty funny from the two actors. They totally roast the movie. lol I have appointments and after I will rectify the situation.

If you sync up Big Trouble in Little China for WGaR, could you include the John/Kurt DVD commentary? Kind of a big ask, but you seem to like commentaries quite a bit yourself and it's a doozy. They're such obviously great friends. I've listened to the commentary by itself on YouTube before because it's entertaining just as a conversation.

I have a good copy of Big Trouble with all the commentary on it that I will sync up. It has three commentaries, one of Carpenter and Russel, and the 5.1 theatrical score. It will be nice. I also updated Zombi 3. It should have the commentary now.

Thanks for the Zombi 3 upgrade! That's a fun commentary (only just started it, but seems like a keeper) and the transfer looks great (especially for a "Zombi" "sequel," they get pretty stinky).

Can't wait to watch Big Trouble a couple more times! Thank you in anticipation... The Nonhero's Nonjourney, classic Not Joseph Campbell storytelling.

Noted. Add this to my bill, Meat.

I may opt for a third-party option for the chicken dinner though. KFC around here is a total crap shoot.

I found Ninja Vengeance (1988) on Screenpix with a free trial. So all I need is Night of the Kickfighters to complete the library. When my money comes in I'll buy a copy of Night of the Kickfighters and transfer it. Unless someone comes across it.

Jesus! OMG where the hell did you find it?  lol

Do you have Curse of the Wolf 2006? The Len Kabasinski one? I thought I had it but it was the 2003 one.

I also found that the Death Rider and the Vampire episode (it was the Glen Danzig Spotlight this year) also showed Verotika and I added it to the library. So now... the Library is complete.  I am going to work on the wheel of the worst stuff.  At least the "winners".  Like Second Chance vs Magnum Force and others.

I don't have Len's Curse of the Woof. Sorry. I found the Kickfighters on Soulseek, maybe try there.

Good luck on the Wheel tapes. Second Chance and other "winners" like Law Enforcement Guide To Satanic Cults are on YT.
