What I can and often do, is to play my movie along with my riff using two separate programs. Been doing it for years. Much respect if this is indeed your last upload, I for one, thank you. Do know there are probably dozens of us who appreciate you sharing your love of a good riff! - Woller

Syncing is probably the easy part. I imagine ducking is the hard, time-consuming part. And I honestly can't imagine watching a Rifftrax without it, because when I do the 2 programs syncing approach, it syncs fine but I can't hear shit during action scenes, or I have to hear the riffs REALLY loudly during quiet parts to make action scenes work.

Thanks for summing up my technical difficulties .... i just said "synching" but you were more specific

I have dual audio keyboard shortcuts that I have to tweak from time to time, but it's second nature to me these days. It goes all the way back to that first X-Men riff. Hey, Prince, Any chance I could talk you into ULing one or two of these? RiffRoll Productions: Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire PS Productions - Star Trek- Amok Time PS Productions - Star Trek- Mirror, Mirror Aaron Bossig - Star Trek: TOS "Spock's Brain" (1968) Track Zero - They Live Thanks for all you've shared with the community sir!

VLC
"Window" on the tool bar Audio Effects Compressor Enable here are the settings: RMS/peak 1.0 attack 1.5 ms release 800 ms threshold -30db ratio 20:0:1 knee radius 1.0 db makeup gain 0 db so in other words: all the way up, all the way down, all the way up, all the way down, all the way up, all the way down, and all the way down i heavily edited this post because i decided i was being an asshole, sorry about that! this is how to watch stuff with flattened audio so that action scenes aren't too loud, etc. two-prog syncing problem: solved!
