All movies have great quality except the ones that are recorded with a cam at the cinema, that ones are labelled with a CAM in the title.
Download the one with more seeders.
The subtitles are shown in the torrent description, if any. You can look the torrent content clicking in the number of files in the torrent description. Subs are .srt files usually, or .sub. If the movie is .mkv or .mp4 the subtitles can be enbebbed and not as an external file.
If there are no subtitles and you want them there are a lot of sites for subtitles, I use subscene.

If you're looking for decent quality films, ie DVD or Blu-ray quality, here's one site worth bookmarking so you can check when a particular film is released on that format.
http://www.dvdsreleasedates.com/
As you see for yourself, a blu-ray/dvd version of Dawn of the Planet of the Apes isn't scheduled for release until December.
http://www.dvdsreleasedates.com/movies/5...-2014.html
Until then, you're likely to see crappy cam copies of the movie.
There's no 'Blu-ray' or 'DVD' in that above torrent description either. See this link for an explanation of the various movie release types, like xvid, TS, HDrip etc:

If you want quality, it's worth waiting for the Blu-ray/DVD release, and often, they get uploaded just before their scheduled release date, so it's worth checking tpb on a regular basis. Download content from uploaders who have a skull next to their name until you get your bearings, and although some comments are plain aidz, it's worth reading them on a torrent to get the gist of its quality.

...
On the old SB, there was an article "Movie Sources & Movie Formats".
It has a section for the 'TS' format, which is what you seem to have downloaded.
Edit: Snipped text. The article is very much here. See below :-)
