Yes, in the episode Mac is assumed to be gay, since he has done several things previously that hinted that he may be gay, and his friends think he is gay. But he does deny it, and says he is straight, but by the end of the episode [spoiler alert] he does claim to be gay. So whether they are 'outing' him or not is up for debate also.
