Just found this today.

http://www.httrack.com/

From the site.

"HTTrack is a free (GPL, libre/free software) and easy-to-use offline browser utility.

It allows you to download a World Wide Web site from the Internet to a local directory, building recursively all directories, getting HTML, images, and other files from the server to your computer. HTTrack arranges the original site's relative link-structure. Simply open a page of the "mirrored" website in your browser, and you can browse the site from link to link, as if you were viewing it online. HTTrack can also update an existing mirrored site, and resume interrupted downloads. HTTrack is fully configurable, and has an integrated help system.

WinHTTrack is the Windows 2000/XP/Vista/Seven release of HTTrack, and WebHTTrack the Linux/Unix/BSD release."

Just tried it out and it works well. Just make sure you aren't trying to recreate ebay on your computer, or something else ginormously big. I did one with about 200-300 pages in around 20 minutes.

Bulk Rename Utility

Great for photographers who like to catalogue all their images. You can sort by date and time created to keep all in order. Seems complicated at first, but it really gets pretty intuitive after a few uses.
http://www.bulkrenameutility.co.uk/Main_Intro.php

Bulk Rename Utility is a free file renaming software for Windows. Bulk Rename Utility allows you to easily rename files and entire folders based upon extremely flexible criteria.
Add date/time stamps, replace numbers, insert text, convert case, add auto-numbers, process folders and sub-folders....plus a whole lot more!
- Rename multiple files quickly, according to many flexible criteria.
- Rename files in many ways: add, replace, insert text into file names. Convert case, add numbers. Remove or change file extensions.
- Check the detailed preview before renaming.
- Rename photos using EXIF meta data (i.e. "Date Picture Taken", "Resolution" and other information embedded in all JPG photo files) Rename your holiday pictures from a meaningless dsc1790.jpg to NewYork1.jpg in a flash.
- Rename MP3 files using ID3 tags (a.k.a. MP3 ID3 tag renaming).
- Change files' creation and modification time stamps.

Quote:During the day, computer screens look good—they're designed to look like the sun.
But, at 9PM, 10PM, or 3AM, you probably shouldn't be looking at the sun.

f.lux

f.lux fixes this: it makes the color of your computer's display adapt to the time of day, warm at night and like sunlight during the day.

It's even possible that you're staying up too late because of your computer. You could use f.lux because it makes you sleep better, or you could just use it just because it makes your computer look better.

Orwell Dev C++, an elegant, multi-featured C/C++ IDE

This version of the Dev C++ is an update of the Dev C++ IDE environment. For starters, there are C, C++, and GUI templates (mostly) for easy Windows program development. GNU/Linux users should just use Netbeans and QT4 for C/C++ GUI.

Hope this helps.
