Written Reporting Rules

Would it be possible to bring back that sticky post which showed what you could and could not report. This was very handy and explained the rules very clearly on reporting.

For example, I clean my torrent of all comment spam and links quite a lot but in one of the cases, one of my reports was not accepted even though I know it's against the rules. The particular report was for advertising gaming servers in the comments.

With that sticky post back in place it would clear up a little confusion.

There wasn't ever a sticky I recall.

There was a bit more of a detailed header on the section.

Regarding spam

Spam Comments

"Download for Free" links
Multiple duplicate comments
"REAL" on fake torrents / "FAKE" on real torrents

Advertising isn't specifically listed. If the moderator rejected your report, then it probably was a legit comment and not spam.

Well it was not so much of a sticky, sorry that was an error on my part. it was the first post on report comments thread as I recall.

The first post went into detail about what you could and could not report. The current header only conists of 3 lines for comment spam. Here is the old thread from the archives which goes into detail and list quite a few things that got missed.

We are not here to discuss what reports have been made or their final disposition. You can take that up on IRC if you wish to pursue it further.
