Windows Vista Ultimate SP2 (32 Bit) Install Question.
#1
I downloaded the Windows Vista Ultimate SP2 (32 Bit) torrent by Computer User and having an issue with the Windows Vista USB - DVD Tool.

When I run the Windows Vista USB - DVD Tool and select the Windows Vista Ultimate SP2 (32 Bit) ISO as the source file and hit next I get this error:

"The selected file is not a valid ISO file. Please select a valid ISO file and try again."

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

You need to extract the content of the .iso using e.g. 7zip or PoweISO and point it at the setup.exe

which iso to usb tool did you try?
The iso to dvd tool from microsoft only works with windows 7, not all usb tools work with all iso's.
for a Vista iso image i always used Poweriso to make a bootable vista setup usb, worked perfect for me

Not if he wants to create bootable setup usb, then extracting the files is not needed because the tool asks for the .iso and not a
directory with files..

at least that my understanding
