Why have all the The Sims 4 torrents been taken down overnight?

There were a bunch of them, not all with the wonky possibly-trojan crack, some just with the uncracked game itself and such. Is TPB knuckling under to DMCA claims these days? Why are these torrents being removed?

Lol, TPB doesn't knuckle or buckle to anyone, least of all the DMCA. If the torrents were removed, it's because they were fake/malware and such. The game was released only 2 days ago so I'm sure it'll be upped soon enough.

But... I'm *using* those torrents, from yesterday, I can assure you they're neither fake nor malware. I'm playing the game right now.

The torrents in question were one that had the preload files from Origin, which work just fine, and one that had a crack that throws up some false positives but seems harmless. It has an issue where the game doesn't remove the censor blur after you use the toilet, but there was *another* torrent up that fixed *that* issue. *ALL* of these torrents have been removed in the last 12 hours, and seeing as I'm using them right now I don't really see how they can be considered fake. As to malware, well, just because MSE says it's so does not make it so, and I've not yet encountered any issues.

Alright well, I'm going to continue playing my perfectly functioning game, and put thought into getting my torrents from elsewhere from now on. If I end up chock-full-o-viruses, I'll consider you guys vindicated, for now I think it's silly, especially since some of the torrents taken down *didn't* have the file that was causing false positives.
