Why has it become so hard?

I have been torrenting since 2003 but only uploaded a few videos myself, most of which occurred over 10 years ago. I wanted to start uploading my own material recently but found that it is really hard these days. TPB hasn't accepted new members for months. Most other torrent sites also aren't taking on new members. Some people suggested specific tube sites, but they too don't seem to be taking on new members.

So what is a person to do if they want to upload a couple of videos?

Look for alternative torrent index and tracker sites, and direct upload/download sites. Or make your own.
Create the torrents (using a torrent editor) and post the magnet links on the "Promote Your Torrents" section.
The big torrent index sites like TPB are good because people can easily get torrents, but there're other venues: Tixati and Tribler have their own system, although those never really caught on, and services like Pop-corn Time.
