What's the deal with the rivalries?

I've seen a lot of stuff like this, whenever someone starts to dominate a subset of TPB(like YIFY are doing with movies lately) and it seems stupid.
We're supposed to be a community, the more divided we are the easier it is to conquer us and if we fall for petty shit like this, we will eventually fail.
Everyone can see that year after year Corps are making bigger and bigger efforts to conquer and legislate the world to their advantage and RIAA and MPAA are at the core of this conquest.
Why are you people - ones that get mad when they lose seeds/dls - mad over it, it's just some numbers on a page, every one download you make matters even if they are a few because for the one guy that downloaded what you put was useful, even if it's not as good as someone else's. Not to mention nowadays it's simple to reverse engineer most stuff and use their tricks in your content this way making TPB better as a whole.
I love TPB, I send everyone I know here for anything they might need and I would hate to see it brought down because some kid got mad and told the cops what he knows and other stupid shit like this.
It's enough that the law is tireless and organizations like Anonymous and even TPB took so many hits, which brought them to the brink, who knows what would be next when certain minds are day in day out focused on bringing TPB down.
Please let's drop the petty shit and focus on what we came here to do, which is providing content instead of getting mad over numbers on a page.

Thanks for reading,
C.

I will leave you with two quotes which seem relevant here:

"You never change things by fighting the existing reality. To change something, build a new model that makes the existing model obsolete" - R. Buckminster Fuller

"If your enemy is secure at all points, be prepared for him. If he is in superior strength, evade him. If your opponent is temperamental, seek to irritate him. Pretend to be weak, that he may grow arrogant. If he is taking his ease, give him no rest. If his forces are united, separate them. If sovereign and subject are in accord, put division between them. Attack him where he is unprepared, appear where you are not expected ." - Sun Tzu, The Art of War

lol, people are stupid. Personally I got nothing against YIFI, I think he's doing an great job, sure the quality of his releases might not be at such awesomeness level, but they are very useful, honestly, sometimes I rather just DL a damn 700MB release to watch on my 1024x728 resolution screen. There will always be someone that will be picky enough to start a war, happens all the time (aXXo anyone? xD).

Damn, I even enjoy DLing one of those old DVDRips where you have the image all pixelized just to get some nostalgic moments

..and there's the fatal flaw in your logic.
tpb is a microcosm of the world, nothing more or less.
What's more, tpb permits free speech.
Add those two together and I believe that's..

I'm sure you know as well as I do, common sense is far from common.

Thing is: why should we argue about losing seeds or losing people over "someone else's" stuff? Besides, I don't think it's possible to divide in some cases. Example: Torrent Hash.
