Star Wars Episode IV: A New Hope. Why, because it's the first in a series of my favorite movies and I watched it in the theater when I was 5. One of my babysitters took me to see it. She sat in the dark and made out with her boyfriend while I watched Star Wars and stuffed myself with popcorn and soda. She and her boyfriend gave me all of the money from their wallets so I wouldn't get them in trouble.

My first pick would be Charlie Chaplin movies.
1) City Lights for the very beautiful ending scene and the hilarious boxing match.
2) Circus for the final rope act.
Chaplin's speech in 'The Great Dictator' is another favourite.

The Adventures of Priscilla, Queen of the Desert for brilliant performances.

Children of Heaven (1997) directed by Majid Majidi. Waiting for his next which is long overdue.
