I see your point also that when it is someone in a position of influence (power) it can be very hard to be heard as the only voice in the room shouting about the elephant.
But i also know from experience that although, personally i felt like the raving lunatic doing the shouting at one time. Those who counted were listening.

If i was ever in a position were i felt bullied or abused on any forum i'd skip the monkey and try to talk with the organ grinder directly. And i'd keep doing it with respect even though when your on the receiving end that can be a very hard thing to do.

And when it's the Organ Grinder?????

repeat my opening statement "This is not a complaint here at SB"

This happens all over and when Admin/Super Dooper Mods are in question the only alternative is leave Sad

Some powerful "Keyboard Warriors" hold themselves in such high esteem, that they become Mods ect all over the forum hierarchy and are "Untouchables"

We all know who they are but re to scared to say because of reprisals.

Are you one? Do you know one?
Want to name and shame one?

Go for it!

Bullying takes many forms. There's appropriate established chanels on most well run forums to report any/all forms of bullying Wink

Many people who think like you want to believe there are steps to stop and or eliminate forum bullies, you are blind to the fact they exist at the highest levels. That’s why people can’t speak out against them.
If you take for example that people in your government and your police force are dodgy then whey not dodgy Mods, Supermods an Admin.?
All forms of bullying.

YESConfused
like you said, the police government are all up to their habbits. I good case in point, my boy got pulled over during a routine check stop. he said the cop was acting like..well, a bully in getting stuff done that he wanted done. I told him respect the position, not the person behind it if it makes him feel better..do what you have to do to get out of the situation and then in the privacy of your own home, then you can shit talk. I think I was bullied out of my job (office politics, long story).

YA VERY hard, because once you go to the organ grinder, all are on alert. and let the office politic games begin. It's gonna be a mess

It reminds me of my karate/sword training whereas it's not just the first initial chop but the follow through that does the most damage...

I get bullied at another forum that I go to. It doesn't make me feel good. It makes me feel bad.

Cyber-bullying is like a game of tennis. It takes two people to play. If you pick up the racket then your in the game. If you ignore it............ Wink

If it was a game of two people then maybe easier to handle but when its from all sides, all with power to ban, suspend, or generally fuck up your life.

just remember this
keyboard fighter is always and only a mere keyboard fighter nothing more and nothing less
without the keyboards and/or the Internet connections, they're nothing

if you're not disclosing your true Identity IRL, you're only a bunch of anonymous graphical HTML codes
they can't harm you

Well said.

I am a little confused though. How does one feel bullied through the internet? Give me an example.
