Are you aware, this tecniques are nothing to do with the topic. Are you? It is more about "take some piece of DNA, put inside a small platinum small, shoot this balls against seed, plant".

Bollocks. It's simply downloading a movie rather than borrowing a VHS tape of it off a friend and watching that--the use of more advanced technology to do the exact same thing more effectively and efficiently.

so, what you are saying is that you prefer a more natural way of genetically modifying an organism as opposed to the types of modifications that are done in a laboratory?

seems like a weak argument to me.

I have strong resentments for some of the preposterous litigation done by Monsanto, however, I have nothing against genetically modified food. It seems like a perfectly valid step forward as long as proper precautions are taken to ensure that the food is safe to eat.

I like organic fresh foods, but those are going to become less viable as human population continues to grow.

They should label this genetically modified food, people are not ginny pigs and have the right to know what they eat. But this will never happen with so many brain dead people in our society. So and now i go and worship my invisible Flying Spaghetti Monster. Smile

I agree. It should be labelled, especially since people are concerned that they are eating the stuff and feeding it to their children.

99% of the food for sell these days is genetically modified.

ie. all compulsory labelling would achieve would be more of the "may contain traces of nuts" type disclaimers that you get on seemingly everything these days from things-that-are-a-million-miles-away-from-nuts right through to packets-of-actual-nuts.
