URL: Blacklist?
#1
Since yesterday I haven't been able to search PB. My antivirus constantly pops up saying: it stopped a threat, saying: "we've safely aborted connection on apibay.org because it was infected with URL:Blacklist.

Can someone tell me if I can safely bypass that without destroying my PC?

I've already had to do a full OS load from scratch 3 days ago because of a so-called Iobit driver booster prog that had 14.15 or so MB, only to find out later all the guy's uploads were all that size. Whatever it was, it bypassed my AV, and it said it was clean.

Any help would be appreciated.

Get a different antivirus?

We don't control what any vendor decides to blacklist.

Also, not a Site Issue, so moved.

Try and use Tor instead and use the Onion address and don't use a regular browser and then it won't trigger off the notification.

If you don't want to use Tor and can't be bothered with it you can still use a regular browser.  It seems that certain Anti-virus over the last couple of days have Blacklisted sites and if you're using TPB then it means that also apibay.org, the site that loads up, when you access TPB is sending the notification off.  Don't worry it's just that they use apibay.org for doing cryptocurrency mining.  I don't think there's any harm involved so it's fairly safe all you're doing is revving up your processor so it will generate some coin for whoever is running the site just to help with running costs.

Just simply open up your Anti-virus software and add an exception and use these so it won't trigger it off:

Thank you, I was also having these issues and was wondering why it's started blocking me from searching the site. I noticed on TOR it doesn't do it but on a regular browser it does.

Many thanks for your help
