Torrenting Dead?

1. So is torrenting daz3d / poser files dead?
2. does anyone still use this or has everyone switch to direct sharing sites? 3. where did everyone go?

Not entirely dead really. I think that it's just slowed down. For what reasons? I could only guess at this point.

zonegfx is by far the most popular sharing venue with many of the established uploaders now sharing there. I see almost nothing being torrented anymore. This might work in our favour since a small site trading niche content is (likely) going to be ignored by the government, RIAA and MPAA. When they take down the next popular torrent site, we'll be safe (hopefully) in our little corner of the net.

I'm just assuming the holidays hit a lot of the artists, content makers, as well as those who share. Visiting family, away from their computers, busy putting out content to grab christmas sales--life stuff. I imagine that'll slow down anyone. Plus the blows to several sharing sites, I imagine, have been discouraging. Give it time

No - been there done that just never arrives and the site seems very scant on contact details which annoys me no end 'specially when I am a site designer myself, so I do know how things should work on a web site.

i got mine came 2 days later, but have noticed that there are some bugs running wild there as sometimes the upload section aint working or the subscription falls down the drain.
its hard to get contact by admin, takes lots of days till a fix is in. also kat is back with tor!

"Dat dah dee dahhhhhhhh....!" KAT IS BACK! Yes Sir!....torrentFreak has just reported that our beloved KAT has been lovingly resurrected by a group of admins. The warm, cozy and welcoming bosom of KAT is now waiting with open arms. She's a little slow right now but will improve as she grows up. |
