Tixati torrent client download issue

Hi, I m using Tixati torrent client for torrent download for years. After I re-install windows 7 and Tixati I m facing a download issue. A Pop-up comes up after 15-20 minute on Tixati Window, 'Error Saving Config File' access denied another program may have this file open (5)

I have clean install of Tixati several times by completely with the help of Revo Uninstaller but no solutions. Kindly help me to fix this error. I don't use any other client.

Try to see what is using that file, http://lockhunter.com/download.htm
Download, install, go to the location of the file with the issue, right click on that file and select "What is locking this file"

Edit: you can always try the portable version and see if the error pops up, might be something related to the appdata directory.

Thanx for reply. I download and install the lockhunder but it is unable to detect any 'AppData' folder. I tried to fill the location manually and turn on the Hidden folders but unable to locate it.

You're not the first person with this issue, if you check Tixati forums, several people had this same exact issue, unfortunately no one was able to come up with a solution.

Do you have an anti virus software? if so, add Tixati's folder (located on the %appdata%) to the exclusion list, if you need help let it be known.

Try to run Tixati as an administrator, although I doubt this will solve the issue, it's worth the try.
