I finally got around to watching it last night.
It was terrible, all the criticisms were completely justified.
But the thing that surprised me most was the amount of really awful CG in the film. T2 had better effects works.
Might be fun to see riffed though.

They don't like to do many audio-only riffs these days. Only the real box office hits (which kind of goes against the whole point of Rifftrax, but what the hell, Mike Nelson hates literally every movie, so he doesn't mind). They want to make sure that they can make some money, and movies that don't have good DVD or digital sales aren't worth their effort.

If Rifftrax doesn't do it, someone independent certainly will. The only way I'm going to see that piece of crap is riffed anyhow.

And why not? Most of the Terminator films have been riffed already (two of them by Rifftrax, the rest in IRiffs), so why not? The only one left besides Dark Fate is Genisys.
