The executive order workaround to the 14th amendment is so obvious…

…that I'm left wondering why none of the politicians and other "experts" aren't talking at all?

All Trump has to do is make it a uniform policy through all federal agencies that all pregnant women
be denied visas, be turned away at the gates and those who cross illegally be dumped back instantly.
There's probably ways to force them into foreign embassies too, if time runs out and that's closer.

It's no conflict with the 14th if they never get the chance to deliver that baby in American jurisdiction,
and they're in no position to sue their way back into jurisdiction because they are not in the U.S.A.
American organizations could try to sue on their behalf but putting the women outside makes it easier
to stall lawsuits long enough that all the babies are being born elsewhere, ending each womans' fight.

All of that could be done with one executive order, and dropping it all at once in one order takes away
everyone's chance to fight it before it comes into effect. ‌ Not even a blue majority Congress could stop it.

It was obvious to me right away so I wonder why the "experts" are keeping it out of sight for so long…‌ ‌ ‌  Huh

Because a legal technicality may still be immoral? Because just a plain article text is not more than the sum of core values as a whole?
Or just because it may prove difficult to find out who's pregnant, and to prevent their entry?

Saw this https://www.imdb.com/title/tt0106950 ? not a great movie but popcorn and teenstosterone make everything cool.

Since pregnancy takes nine months and it becomes more obvious as time goes by
there's no difficulty detecting pregnancies quickly enough to make it work as planned.
Women with big bellies simply don't get in at all and the rest: not until they are tested.

…And that's just the first stage.  ‌ Other ways will be found to put the women outside
jurisdiction, each can be put into play if or when a court blocks any part of the plan.

As for morality and core values; you do remember this is Trump we're talking about?  ‌ ‌ ‌ [Image: tongue3.gif]
His people are still holding abducted children and are even planning to start abducting more.

The idea may be as monstrous as the family separations but that's no excuse not to talk about it.
After all, Trump did that one already and we all know he'll probably get worse, and more stubborn.

Then there's the possible consequences: As a counter-reaction to the blockage, they will take labor-inducing pills moments before landing; as the "migra" nabs them, picture the bunch of women yelling "medic!", the mess. Blood everywhere, heart attacks, some OD's, other taking it too soon and getting bad while still in the plane - or taking it too late and dying in the plane back...

I'm not saying Trump wouldn't like that scenario even more, as it may be a catalyst for further policies, but it will definitely enrage everybody.

Like I said earlier, big bellies couldn't even get on the plane because they don't get visas.
The whole idea is pre-emption. ‌ ‌Labour-inducing pills don't help if women are kept outside.
Even so, Trump will find a way to enrage folks because that's precisely how he behaves. ‌ ‌ [Image: tantrum.gif]

Let's keep in mind that not all of the conservatives and Republican voters out there approve of what Trump and his crooked administration are doing.....

So they will deny emergency medical assistance in lieu of international flight and humanitarian agreements, regulations, and opinion?

Re : the 14th Amendment, note that neither the President or the Congress has the authority to put an end to birthright citizenship. It takes a Constitutional amendment passed by three-quarters of the states.....and that's one that will never happen. If Trump decides to again go against legal advice via Executive Order, it will be challenged in federal court! if that were to go to the Supreme Court even his buddies Gorsuch and Kavanaugh will vote against him on that.

I guess Aaron meant just restricting access thru the borders, not messing with the Constitution; Trump is really into building Great Towers, Walls, America (again). But some countries don't forbid pregnant women, or anyone without a visa, to embark an airplane to go anywhere, even kids (with parents' consent). And the US Embassy don't deny visas for them, knowing pregnant women about to labor or solo kids shouldn't go. That's messy.
