Games I heard were awesome but haven't played myself (and I will try)
Skyrim" (I played the first one of the Elder Scrolls... I'm no good at 1st person games...I tried the first game, Oblivion). I can make my stomach sick from the camera angles and controlling the guy. My son is an ace.. He had a really built up character until his computer crashed...
Call of Duty: Same thing, But my son is a sniper He's great and I'm fail
NEED FOR SPEED: muddah Fucka!!! I love that game series, esp the Hot Pursuits. Any one. As Rainman says: I'm an excellent driver). I can kick my sons ASS on some tracks, which is saying something.
You will all laugh, but: Dragon Ball Z Budokai , for the Playstation 2. I'd love watching the cartoon with my son when he was younger, he doesn't care anymore, but I still love it... Game play is fun...I know there are probably better karate games out there (I've never played Tekken), Mortal Kombat is cool in it's own right. But I used to be a sup back up for an insurance company, in charge of 15 people. and I called OUT OF WORK from playing DBZ all night and all day long... That's a game
Old games for the Commodore 64??? Yie ar King Fu, International Karate Champion, Others I can't seem to remember now...
As far as games, I'm an elite driver or Karate master...I don't have the patience, but I'll make myself have patience...OH, Splinter Cell I tried.. Fun but too much of a butch to control...

The flaw with this thread is that the participant's preferences will change over time.
For example, I may like Starcraft and Starcraft: Brood War, but over time, it might be Donkey Kong Country.
There are no permanent preference.
I can't even find a favourite game and stick with it myself.

The Elder Scrolls III: Oblivion. The Elder Scrolls IV: Skyrim.
the first was The Elder Scrolls: Arena in 1994.
you really need to learn how to play games if you enjoy them. you can switch from 1st person to 3rd person in these games, so if 1st person bothers you just switch. also, if you don't trust yourself to make proper backups of save data use Steam to play the games. saves are baked up online.
