The Oscars 2014 ?

Wonder if anybody watched the Oscars last weekend Tongue

Share your thoughts.

I liked Ellen's anchoring. I think she made everyone feel at home. Harrison Ford was almost like "Damn the Oscars. Bring out the pizzas". Ellen shone like a little jewel on stage. Hope the Finding Nemo sequel gets made without any hassles.

Glenn Close's little speech on those who'd passed was very gentle and moving. The "In Memoriam" video was nicely done.

I was quite surprised Gravity started piling up the Oscars. But then I didn't know the categories correctly.

DDL was proly the calmest of them all walking up with the nicest smile.

you go :-)

I enjoyed the whole thing.

Ellen was a good choice, made me chuckle once or twice (even thou im more of "Ricky Gervais at the Golden Globes" type).

U2 performance was outstanding and i also enjoyed Karen O's song.

Last but not least, i think "American Hustle" was highly overrated (Amy Adams was great thou), "Prisoners" was underrated if not ignored, Jennifer Lawrence behaviour/attitude is starting to feel false, boring and forced and i really liked the presence of Jim Carrey, Jamie Foxx and Daniel Day Lewis. The most awkward moment was Ellen's joke about Liza Minelli, most funny moment was Ellen's joke about Jonah Hill's dick and i dont know why but every time Bill Murray was on screen i couldn't help but smile, i love that guy.

Oscars hate action movies and hate strong stories, it's always miss-rating and it's surprising how someone still believe in Oscars.
