I've got some good news and bad news

Good news: the awful colorization is gone. I understand why Rifftrax chose this version but my god the brown and yellow was terrible and Vincent looked like Rogue One Tarkin in the first shot of him sleeping. 

Bad news: there is over 9 more minutes of movie here.

Thanks so much for the upgrade. I hate when they use the colorized versions of stuff (I think it has to do with licensing and rights), so I'm grateful for this.

They are using the Legend Films releases to my knowledge, which they probably get pretty cheap access to. Carnival of Souls, Little Shop of Horrors, Reefer Madness, Night of the Living Dead, and Missile to the Moon are some of Legend's other victims. Luckily The Last Man on Earth now joins the rest of those movies in being rescued from colorized hell for riffing purposes.

Weirdly enough, IMO, The Last Man on Earth has been the worst of the releases listed. I think they just used an AI pass like one of those "4K 60fps colorized" historical footage videos on youtube from 5 years ago with de-noise cranked to 11

My thanks, Billy! This is one of my favorite sci-fi/horror stories of all time (giant plot holes and all), so I appreciate the upgrade AND the file size.

It's oddly not anamorphic; the black bars are hard-coded. I guess that's how they made mkv files back in 1963. Works for me.
