I was thinking the other day that it would be really cool if you could take one of the movies that Joe Bob and RiffTrax have in common and watch both versions at the same time. I've always wanted to try and learn Premiere Pro and I figured it couldn't be that hard, just cut the regular movie out of TLDI and replace it with the RiffTrax version. And after I did that, I realized that the run time was way short, and remembered that RiffTrax edits things out, so I started over.
I counted 25 places where they cut stuff out, but I put it all back in except for one spot at the end in the barn, they cut out a minute or so of dialog and did a riff across where they cut it, so there was no way to put that back in, but otherwise the movie is intact.
Some of the cuts are in weird places and the edit looks a little jumpy because the TLDI version has some slight letterboxing, and the RiffTrax version is full screen. As I said this was my first time trying something like this, but I think I did a fairly decent job.
Also, thanks to runrunbill for providing the TLDI video I used for this.
Hope you enjoy it!
