It was a pretty great show last night. They really brought their A-game.

Did they do a short as well?

I'm stuck waiting for the VOD of it since there's no theater close to me to head to.  I'm really looking forward to this one and I'm so glad they make a point of securing VOD rights for the live shows now.

We walked in a little late, but it definitely seemed like there was no short, and they just dove right in. (See what I did there?)

I'm confident we'll get a Rifftrax Live! version to watch at home 'cause I donated to the Kickstarter and one of my rewards is a DVD of the performance, so I figure that means it'll be available to purchase/watch the digital version, no?

Best live show in a while.  They were hilarious, the jokes were a little more risque than their typical Only-Rated-G material, the movie's ridiculous while having high production value and being super fun, and maybe best of all, I don't remember much of the Mike Only riffs (and we plan to watch it this weekend to compare) but it felt like most if not all of the riffs were new for this version! Just a great time all around. If you're on the fence about going next week, definitely go see it.

I'm a backer as well.  The digital version (and physical for some backers) are definitely happening for this show.  The guys have said that when they plan their live events starting a few years ago, they make a point of only doing shows they can sell as VOD afterwards.

I felt this was their best live in a while, I also enjoyed that their jokes were a bit more risqué than normal. I think that's what made it better, also they didn't block nudity in the film or anything like they did for Starship Troopers.. There was no short, it is a 2 hour film so they didn't have the time for that. They had a few ohhhh ouch kinda jokes that were real funny all in all.

Heck, I might actually shell out for the blu ray of this one. That's how good the show was. I've already got the Shout Factory 4K steelbook of Point Break and a blu ray of the Live show would make a nice companion piece to sit on the shelf with it.

I think the only way to get the physical version of this one was through the Kickstarter.  I don't think they're selling them otherwise, except for the download version.

They wouldn't bother manufacturing them only as a Kickstarter reward. That's a bad use of resources and leaving money on the table. Trust me, it will be available for purchase.

Maybe they'll have some extras available, but this is the official word they've had so far:
