The Deadly Bees (blu-ray upgrade)
#1
Please enjoy The Deadly Bees with this huge quality upgrade... at long last we can finally say that yes, unquestionably, we have seen the dog's meat in HD. The color grading gets a huge boost as well and it no longer looks like an episode of Breaking Bad that takes place in Mexico.

Special thanks to bsg4you for keeping the best available VHS/DVR rips seeding for the episodes that never made it to disc. There was another Deadly Bees sync floating around but the video didnt look HD and the audio was possibly synced from a VHS source based on my observations. For this file, the video comes from the Olive films blu and the audio from the DVR rip that bsg is sharing.

This wasn't Amicus' best film. They did make some good movies that were up there with Hammer. Tigon and Lion were usually ok, but they did made some stinkers.

Amicus made good anthology films which were usually scripted by horror writer Robert Bloch (who wrote the script for Deadly Bees as well) or based on his short stories but they didn't have much success with non-anthology films.  The Psychopath (1966) is fun but I'm not sure if that's an official Amicus or not even though it's made by the Amicus producers.

Thanks Billy for the upload.
