Proxies are buggy. Do not expect everything to work as it supposed to. If one of them has a lack of functions, try another one: https://proxybay.la/

It's nicer to call the website a proxy rather than a fake. I have no choice but to use a proxy (and thanks for your URL) thanks to the High Court. I'm not aware of anything bad happening as a result.

You've pretty much answered your own question.  We can't help you with sites we do not operate.

The search works fine.  Any problems you are experiencing with it are not on TPB's end.

Find a new proxy, use a VPN, or use tor to access the .onion address.
