can you explain why web seeds are removed when you upload the torrent ??

Given that this thread is about the display of swarm sizes, I'm going to guess you are using the term "web seed" incorrectly and answer in the context of this thread.

They aren't removed.  When you upload a new torrent, even if it has an existing swarm, TPB doesn't know about it until it scrapes the hash for the first time.

I dont understand what that does it mean ,, can you explain what can be done to make this webseed link stays in the torrent and users download  from that location when they download the torrent from the website ?

Moe means that nothing is stopping you from web seeding.

But links to 'web seeds' are included in torrent files, which we haven't supported for nearly a year. Magnet links, which is what we host, don't support the inclusion of 'web seeds'.

There is nothing you can do, and nothing we can fix. [We are not going to go back to torrent file hosting, certainly not for such a marginal use case.]

You could, if you wish, suggest to BitTorrent, Inc. that they should modify their torrent client--the most popular in the world--to accept a new parameter within magnet links. If they update the protocol and their client then we could update the links.

I've been seeding a torrent for 3 days and uploaded a total of 14GB, but it continues to show 0 seeds?
Is there a problem with the site or trackers?

Same here, alot of torrents show the wrong peer stats...
TPB should use the demonii tracker to scrape stats from, i dont know what tracker they use now but, its either blocked or doesnt work anywhere so thats why its almost got no stats.

Not really a problem with site, but could be fixed by them, maybe.

Seed/Leech engine is intuitive. It will never show the real numbers of Seeders/Leechers.

We can surely switch to other trackers. We also have eD2k links... Don't worry; the speed won't be affected if demonii is down
