qBittorrent is more actively developed, 100% open source, cleaner and multiplatform. Cool

Edit: I'm talking about the link that leads the bitlord.com when you clik "torrent client" in the above picture, I mean, qBittorrent it's way too much better...

Something so minor probably will never be considered.

This is an old discussion, but I'll bite. Last time I checked, uTorrent wass an ad infested piece of malware. I have been using linux and transmission exclusively for years, for obvious reasons. No ads. No spyware. 100% open source and free software all the way. I'm not gonna be condescending or aggressive about it. Whatever floats your boat. But calling qBittorent a minor thing when it's just about the only viable FOSS alternative to uTorrent on a windows platform is kinda .... stupid?

Lemme see if I win the grand prize.

He was probably referring to the change of the link, not the client itself. If you folks wanna start a discussion on which client has the biggest penis, please use the Application and Software section.

Here's an idea: Stop endorsing this or the other client and link to an unbiased and informative page instead. Maybe write up a TUT in the proper section and keep it objective?

Bad idea nonetheless.

It's not a bad idea, it's a very good idea, one I've long espoused.

But what Winston is willing to do is not necessarily the same as what you (members) or we (staff) opine he should do.

I know of no reason to believe that link will be changed any time soon.

Bitlord pays I guess. Also is it still the worst bitcomet clone out there?

That would be my guess also.

BitLord v1 was a clone of a notoriously buggy version of BitComet.

My understanding is that BitLord v2 was based on something else entirely. I've no idea of the quality of implementation, I've never been interested enough to check.
