It looks like a good idea but, you know, things are not what they seem to be. Sometimes I happen to visit a torrent site and see that one of my old torrents has no seeds, so if I find people asking for it, I go back to seeding myself. And sometimes even if nobody has asked for it, and it's a smallish file, I do it anyway, because it's a pity to waste a torrent you made with love.
Period of time would mean how long?

There will not be such practice -as deleting apparently not seeded torrents- since seeders do appear and disappear aleatory during the life of a torrent. Moreover it would make rare content even more inaccessible if temporarily unseeded torrents are deleted.

Well, exactly my thoughts. I'm the living example, LOL!
Moreover, most of us upload stuff on different websites. So I've noticed that the same torrent which I uploaded at KAT and here at TPB, on my KAT page it says 0 seeders, but here it has 7, and in my torrent client it shows them, and there's lively traffic. But for some reason, the KAT page lists only the KAT seeders and not the TPB ones. Same for d2.vu, which updates the seeder count once every two months or so!
That's another very solid reason why one should first try and download the torrent, and then see exactly how many seeders there are.
As a downloader, I often try to add random working trackers to a poorly seeded torrent, and sometimes I discover that there are seeds in these other trackers.

Excuse the slight OT question. There used to be a website named piratewiki or so.
Do not remember the URL. Did that also die with the old SB ? :-(
Couldn't find it on google. thx.
