The issue is that TPB directs here. I can only visit TPB via Tor (or something similar, but i use Tor).

Then i come here, try to register and am told that the IP is banned.

Now, i do understand that people who use Tor are not always upstanding citizens of the Planet Earth (as i am), but maybe it could be mentioned somewhere (i.e. Hey, if you want to register, you need to register from an IP address not associated with Tor).

Tor is often used for abuse among torrent sites, and alike services. A VPN is more sufficient here for signups.

You could try 'New Tor circuit for this site'.

Or post the IPs (exit node IP?) you see in your Tor circuit and post in the Account Issues section. Mods can then unban the IP.
