ok every time i try and delete a thread that I make I get the message that I don't have access to delete my own thread and it ends up having to wait to be deleted by a moderator...

COULD WE GET THAT FIXED ALREADY.....

It's not broken. It is intentionally disabled.

If you could delete your own threads, you would also have the ability to delete responses which are not yours.

Its somewhat comical that this is still asked so much (no offense to the person who asked the question, I'm pretty sure I did the same once on the old forum). Like, can't y'all change the code for the site so people don't see the red x? Or like, make it so a text box pops up saying it doesn't work when the mouse pointer hovers over it? I guess it just goes to show you how many new uploaders the Pirate Bay continues to gain.

People need to go back, look at the thread prefix, and read the first post.

OP is talking about deleting forum threads, not TPB uploads...

The answer must be think about it before creating a new thread.

Think about where you should post it and what type of answers you may get.
