Edit Reason: Added a requests since Site Issues also gets those
)
I was thinking it'd be a lot easier having a single FAQ Sticky for Site Issues than the separate ones, and enable it to pop-up in some dialog before posting in said section so the can read it first?
I know a lot of them are incapable of figuring out how to search or read but hey it could work if something appears when making a new thread to encourage them to look at it.

1.) Wrong Code Error
Click Here If Your Encountering This
Click Here If Your Encountering This"Wrong Code" error can be for other reasons besides a banned IP, i myself have had a "Wrong Code" error uploading a German DVDRip with non english characters in the title and changing the title fixed the issue so check to see if any of these known issues are affecting your ability to upload
Title too long (No more than 64 char, including spaces) << Fixed in some categories (titles longer than 64 char are now truncated and cut off at the limit)
Description too long
url in title or description
File type included which is not allowed in certain categories (e.g .exe in movies, mp4 in audio etc)
.txt and/or .pdf files in upload posted in Music section
Torrent already exists ( Check if torrent already exists by pasting the exact filename you are attempting to upload @ Torrentz) to see if its already indexed in TPB Torrentz has shut down
Too many files in torrent (Usually returns an "Entity Too Large" error) Archiving the files is a possible fix
.torrent filesize too big (about 270k is the limit for most .torrent files)
In Video HD (especially in porn section) if you try uploading a file smaller than 400MB regardless of weather it is a 720/1080p file it will return an error.<<< fixed in Porn > HD Movies all file sizes now allowed.
An ampersand "&" representing the word "and" in title will return an error.
Avoid if possible some unicode symbols/letters (e.g Ñ - Latin small letter N)
If you can't get to the root of the issue with a particular torrent after checking it against the above list then try a different upload and see if the problem persists.

...means that your account is OK but that you were trying to upload from an IP address which has been banned.
[Confirm that by checking the status of your account. If it says you are banned then do not post in this thread; instead create a new thread here or reply to your existing thread if you have one.]
Usually when this happens it is because you have a dynamic IP address (or you're using a proxy/VPN) which has previously been used by someone else to upload fake/infected torrents.
In that case, your best bet is simply to refresh your IP address* and try again. You could ask us to investigate but, chances are, by time we get to it your address will have changed anyway.
If you do want us to investigate then post here. We will check the address you use for that post, so make sure you don't refresh your address between the time you get the error and the time you post here. And if you want to benefit if we do lift any ban then make sure you don't refresh your IP until we've lifted the ban and you've uploaded your torrent.
* To refresh your IP address:
If you connect to the Internet via a router:
Log into the router's admin console. (Often http://192.168.1.1/)
Release the IP address or Release DHCP. (Method varies by router manufacturer)
Renew the IP address or Renew DHCP. (Method varies by router manufacturer)
If you connect to the Internet via a modem (and you're using Windows)
Click on Start, then Run. Type cmd and click on OK.
type ipconfig /release and press the Enter key.
type ipconfig /renew and press Enter.
Alternatively, try clicking the reset button on your modem or router, or turning your modem or router off for 30 seconds and then back on again.
You could also try uploading from another location, or via a(nother) proxy/VPN
If you have the option, obtaining a static IP address would help you avoid any such problems in future.

the torrent file you are trying to upload contains too many files

It can also be caused by having an '&' in the title.

- The IP address you are using to post has been banned.
- The comment you are trying to post contains a string of characters which is in our spam blocklist.
Narrow the problem down by trying to post a comment saying, simply, "thanks".
- If that is rejected then the problem is your IP address.
- If it is accepted then the problem is the text you were trying to post.
If the problem is your IP address then:
- If you are using a static IP then post in this thread or, better yet, in the Account Issues forum and we'll investigate.
- If you are using a dynamic IP or a proxy or VPN then try using a different IP/proxy/VPN. There is probably little we would be able to do for you since even if we unbanned the IP you are/were using, you will likely use a different IP next time you try to post.
If the problem is your comment then:
- try re-wording to remove superfluous text and eliminating any likely candidates (usually: URLs)
- if you still cannot get your comment accepted the post the text you are trying to post here and we will see if we can figure out what the problem is.
4.) Filename error
Filename Error Problems Click Here
Filename Error Problems Click Here"Error: Filename error" means that the torrent you're trying to upload contains a file type that is not accepted into the category you selected.
eg. .M4A and .TXT files cannot be uploaded into Audio > Music and .URL files cannot be uploaded into Video > Movies
Create and upload a new torrent without those files or upload your torrent into another category (such as "Other").
If you can't figure out which files are causing the problem, attach your torrent to a reply here telling us which category you're trying to upload into and someone will take a look.

A number of people are experiencing this error when uploading.
- We are awere of it so DO NOT post "me too" replies here. All that does is bury useful information.
- There is no ETA for a fix, and it is more likely than not that a fix will be weeks away at least
- There is only one known workaround at this time--reducing the size of the .torrent file you are trying to upload by increasing the piece size used to create the .torrent file--and it is not always successful.
- If reducing the piece size does not work for you there is nothing else we can suggest.
- If you find something else that does work, let everyone know hereherehere.
