SuprBay: Ability to Delete Own Message
#1
Hi,

I know that in my experiences, there are some things that I say but would later regret for saying it. I would have wish to delete my message so others can't see my crap messages.

Also, there are mistakes like cross-posting, double posting, and bumps, which I would later find unnecessary by the moderators.

I would be banned for it, for something which I consider trivial, but in order to post in a forum, like going to someone's house, I have to obey the rules. I understand that.

What must also be understood is that people make mistakes. I know I do, but that's because I'm human. Humans a prone to make mistakes.

I've seen this delete messages feature in other forums, and that's not to say that SuprBay must have one, but it should.

Since I'm not a mod, I'll leave to those people to ponder this issue. Thank you for your attention.

You can delete your own messages, you just can't do it secretly (and you never will be able to).

Edit your post, select all the text, tap the period key on your keyboard and click Save Changes.

Everyone can see that you changed your mind. Nobody gets confused that stuff they think they remember has disappeared (or, worse, that it has been censored by some Mod).

Alternatively, you could edit your post and erase everything and leave [Content Deleted] behind or something.
